Hermeneutics: Wisdom Literature

In our continuing series on hermeneutics, we look at principles of interpretation for Biblical wisdom literature: Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes. We'll define wisdom, look at the vocabulary of the wisdom literature, how to handle context in the book of Proverbs, the difference between generalized and absolute proverbs, the difference between indicative and imperative proverbs, and other topics.
