Jesus Doesn't Answer the Question. Now that's good teaching...

Pastor Chronister starts off by explaining why David is called a man after God's own heart. Then he explains how David is a type of Christ. And he also explains how Saul and Absalom is a type of the anti-christ. Then pastor describes who Judas actually is. I won't tell you about that. If you've listened to the sermons that pastor has here on Sermon Audio then you'll know what he says about that. And if not, I wouldn't want to give it away.
Next, pastor talks about Bible and how it is absolutely unique and designed. He does this by bringing up other religious books and comparing them to the Bible. All the others do not speak of Christ. All the others do not teach salvation by Christ alone through faith alone by grace alone. They are religions of salvation by works. Pastor Chronister makes many wonderful cases for the Bible as a work of God. And all this is just the prelude to the actual sermon.
The sermon starts with Jesus in Matthew 24. And He's asked a question. But He goes on for twenty four verses and doesn't answer the question. Now that's good teaching. And of all things, pastor tells us that Lot is a type of Christ. And do you think that I, your humble typist, can explain how he does that? Oh, no. I'll gladly let pastor do that.
