Acts 8:26-40

While enjoying a great evangelistic harvest among the Samaritans, Phillip is called away and caught up to Gaza where an Ethiopian Eunuch is searching God's word and reading Isaiah 53. We will look at this wonderful day when the Ethiopian treasurer was saved. It's sobering to consider the history of what was once a great Christian nation as we read the CIA summary on Ethiopia and discuss the present situation in light of God's word. We will examine the Alexandrian corruption of the text (verse 37) and examine our own attitude toward God's word.
