The King Enters His City

Featured on Apr 6, 2006
This was the day the apostles had longed to see. Jesus of Nazareth, for whom they had left everything, loved by the common people but despised by the religious leaders, was entering the glorious city. The king was entering Jerusalem! David's heir was assuming His rightful place! The "whole multitude of the disciples" embraced Him as their sovereign. They could not give Him all the glory He deserved, but they did what they could. They cast their garments and their palm branches at His feet, and Christ's enemies were powerless to stop them. You cannot give Him all the glory He's due, but you can do something. This is one of Russ' favorite sermons.
