Live By Faith

With a combined quotation from Isaiah 26:20 and Habakkuk 2:3 (Septuagint) the writer encourages his readers with the certainty that their deliverer is coming. The proper response to the certain return of Christ, "the coming one," is to live by faith (and the writer quotes Habakkuk 2:4 to set this forth). The writer then affirms that his brethren possess this persevering faith.
