Exodus 1:1-14

We begin our journey through the Book of Exodus. We will establish Moses as the author by trusting God's word on the matter. In the same manner, we will look to God's word to give us information on this Pharaoh. We will look at the setting as we begin to understand the plight of the Hebrews and the circumstances surrounding Israel's eventual flight out of Egypt. And we will consider the suffering of the Hebrews in comparison to and similarity with the suffering of believers in this present age.
