The Cities that Unite (Joshua 20-21)

The next section of Jushua tells of cities of Refuge and the Levitical cities that Moses commanded Israel to set aside after they conquered the land.

Levi is scattered among the other 12 inheritances (or thirteen, if you count the two halves of Manasseh!) God does this in order to remind Israel that they are one people. And also that the inheritance of the land is pointing them to the inheritance of God himself!
