Children's Bread Cast to the Dogs

This is a transition time in the ministry of Jesus, His success as a teacher and a miracle worker is being swallowed up by the opposition of all His enemies. Herod has become suspicious of our Master, the Pharisees could not hide their active hostility and hatred; even the common people were now taking offense at some of His messages. It is more difficult for Him to be concealed but such a great Physician could never go unnoticed in a world of suffering. Jesus departs for the area around Tyre and Sidon where this pagan woman comes to Him begging for mercy for her poor daughter who is demon possessed.
