Rahab Hides Messengers. Why? What's the message? Who gets it? Why send it?

Pastor starts the recap before the sermon. He's going back to Moses, Jacob and comparing Jacobs limp with Moses impending death. Then we compare this with Joshua's later meeting with Esau. All three of these men came face to face with God and they all live.

Before we return to Joshua 6 we must discuss current events. I'll let pastor explain (like I can stop him). This is very informative.

Prophecy is proof to the world that the Person who wrote it is outside of time. By the way... scientists are now saying that there is "no now". Now they tell us. Pastor's been saying it for years. But they’re also saying that free will is an illusion. Hmmm.

This leads pastor to a discussion of time dilation. Time does not have a direction to God. He is the absolute observer because of all of His Omni's.

We are seeing Ezekiel 38 fulfilled on TV... But on to Joshua.

Let's figure out what's going on in Joshua 6 and compare it with Joshua 2. His army has no ability to take down these walls. And what's this passage about the harlot? Anyway, pastor thinks the walls fell inward. His reasoning for this is simple. He plays the trumpet and people are always repelled from him, therefore the walls will be repelled. Okay back to Rahab and the messengers she hid. What's the message? Who gets the message? Why are they sending it? And what is this accursed thing God talks about? The people shout before the wall fell. (But wait... something strange is about to happen. Pastor is about to answer… a question. Gasp! I'll let you listen so you can gasp also.) Why do you have utter destruction?
