The Bible's Big Picture: The Fall

As we approach the Scriptures, it is helpful to keep the BIG Picture in mind. What we believe about the past affects what we believe and how we will live in the present.

In this series we will answer the big questions of life. Where did we come from? Why are we here? What explains the mess the world is in? AND How will it all end? These BIG Questions are the subject of a brief series: THE BIG PICTURE! It is essential that we are clear about what we believe about our origin if we would rightly know ourselves and the God whom we worship.

In this message we consider the man's fall into sin. Genesis 3 tells us of the devastating effect of Adam and Eve's sin on themselves and their posterity. They brought upon us all the curse of death. We find in Genesis 3 the explanation of how sin has brought devastation and suffering into the world. It only the Christian worldview that can account for the existence of evil and suffering in the world.
