Romans 10 contrasts the Old Covenant of Sinai with the New Covenant of the Spirit. The Old is summarized: "The man that does those things shall live in them." The summary of the New is "Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Peter made this same contrast on the Day of Pentecost in his sermon recorded in Acts 2.
