The Prince of Life

Life itself, and the wonderful complexity of its structure evidences the work of a great designer. Human life is, and was, the crowning achievement in creation.

Life is God's gift and dominion. As human beings we are endowed with something special; our hearts are drawn to those who need help; we are able to be loved, and to love; to create; to dispense justice; and importantly, as human beings we are made to know God, and to have a relationship with Him.

Jesus Christ is life, He is the Prince of Life. On earth He showed that life by caring for souls; by being interested in the care and provision needed by those He sought to help.

The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was not a tragic mistake; it was a deliberate, and chosen act; an appropriate sacrifice, that through His death all who came to Him might know that true life, as a result of God being willing to forgive sinners.

The Jews alone were not responsible for His death, we too are implicated. In God's plan of salvation, He was killed as the sacrifice for sin, that He might give life. Can we venture another moment without knowing life in Christ? Repent therefore, and come to Him now.
