Christ's Assessment of the Church at Laodicea

Laodicea, the repulsive church. This is the last of the seven churches assessed by Christ. Of these seven the church at Laodicea was in the worst state. Her self-appraisal says it all, 'I have need of nothing.' Christ reveals to her that He is ready to cast her away from his presence. He commands repentance; He desires fellowship.

The promise of Christ to the overcomer should be considered at length. Here are two thrones, the Father's throne and the Son's throne. Pause at this place and refer to the Scripture citations which reinforce the distinction between the Father's throne and the Son's. In short, Christ is not now reigning on His throne.
