The methods of dynamic equivalent and formal equivalent translation techniques are reviewed, and continued. Are we authorized to translate the scriptures into the vernacular languages? The fact that the Lord spoke in Aramaic, the gift of tongues in the early church, and the translation and use of the Old Testament Scriptures into the Septuagint are three evidences In the bible that give such authorization.
