In receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, we are given nothing less than the fullness of the life of God the Father in and through the Son. The Spirit is the Spirit of the Father, poured out through the Son, with whom he makes us one. In living in the fullness of the Spirit we live in the fullness of the Father's life for his family.
