A Warning Against Favoritism

Don't be influenced by what God doesn't establish as criteria for preference. Favoritism for financial status stems from evil motives. As God is impartial, justice is impartial so James warns against judging with evil thoughts.
The antidote to favoritism is to exalt in the grace of the Gospel, its affect on us an our community, and to humble ourselves before the Lord.
