Scriptural Proof of the Resurrection

Just as the Pharisees relied on tradition and pragmatism for their authority, so the Sadducees relied on their reason. To them, the idea of a resurrection made no sense, and therefore it could not be true. Even so, many today make the same mistake. They rely on what seems right to them to make decisions as to what must be right. This is our natural sin — our natural arrogance — and Christ shows us the futility of such thinking.
