By This We Know Love

The only way that unbelieving people will come to know the love of God is if it is shown and demonstrated to them. This is one of the chief things that we are called to do as children of God, as a part of our witness for Christ; to manifest the love of God in tangible ways. The question that we want to consider tonight is this: How do we know what love is, so that we can manifest it to the brethren and others? Well, I think that we can understand some of the basics of what love is, by looking at these verses, and the truth that we will find here will be helpful to us when we come to partake of the Lord’s Supper.
