Love Born of God

What God desires from us more than anything is that we love Him. Any parent can relate to this: cold compliance is a sorry substitute for glad devotion. Don’t you agree? When we’re born again, God does not merely make us kinder, cleaner people. He radically recreates us by His Spirit, giving us new hearts that sincerely love Him, love His family, and joyfully walk in His ways. This is real Christianity. “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
