Easter: Message of Judgment

The cross and its accompanying darkness is a statement of God's judgment on an evil and adulterous world. Yet it is also the place of judgment for Christ on account of our sin!

Live in light of the cross! Often times we forget that the cross of Christ is our cross. As such, we must never forget that the life that leads from Calvary is a life lived in light of the cross. It is a life of trusting in Christ’s righteousness. It is a life of self-denial. It is a life of suffering and shame. And it is a life living for the glory and honor of God.
