The Glorious Trinity

Part of a series on Knowing God. Preacher said he found it one of if not the most difficult sermon to prepare.

1 What God has revealed about Himself that we refer to as The Trinity.

That there is but one God - that there are three distinct persons of the Godhead - each person of the Godhead is wholly God - that the properties given to each person of the Godhead are eternal.

2 Why it is important to know this about God.

Because God says so - it gives us a greater understanding of the gospel - because the Christ who is not of the Trinity is not a Christ that can save - because JWs deny this truth - because we see it reflected in end-times ref to Satanic trinity.

3 Why has God revealed this to us.

Because this is who He is - it takes beyond the edge of our understanding.

By it we understand more about our witness and prayer;

hat we might know Him.

Application that we should adore Him and know Him.
