The Sabbath Day

Too many Christians today have a poor understanding of the Sabbath because they
have a poor understanding of the God of the Sabbath. May that never be said about
us. Both Holy Scripture and our Catechism properly instruct us about the God of the
Sabbath and the Sabbath Day itself.

1. The Christian Sabbath is to be an imitation of God's Rest.

2. The Christian Sabbath is to be an application of spiritual activities.

3. The Christian Sabbath is to be a preparation for Eternity.
