Our Great High Priest

Because of who Jesus is, and because of the nature of His great work, we must cling to the truth of everything scripture teaches about Him. The effectiveness of our lives for Christ are directly related to the depth of our understanding of who He is and what He has done. So much of the Christian life is centered around this simple fact, we cannot hold to the promises of the Lord if we are not holding also to the Lord who gave them. So a wrong understanding of just who Jesus IS, will inevitably lead to a misapprehension of what He has done and what He has promised. Right believing begins with right understanding.
