Never Dying Life

We will each one day face death. It is, in a way, the great equalizer. The journey of the greatest king and the most humble pauper winds up in the same place: the graveyard. Only a belief turned outward can save us from death.

As the great Christian poet John Donne wrote, “Death, be not proud, though some have called thee…One short sleep past, we wake eternally, And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.” The source of this everlasting life, this life that will not be defeated by death, is Jesus Christ Himself.
