The Trespass Offering

There is a distinction that has to be made between the sin offering and the trespass offering. The sin offering puts away the punishment for sin, and the guilt associated with it; and the trespass offering puts away the pollution for sin (offenses, faults, trespasses)and the guilt associated with it. It is critical for the child of God to understand this so that he might understand how he is affected by his in his life, and then be able to apply faithfully to the remedy for our present sins in the death of Christ.
