Power Not of this World

We see the important and powerful people of this world come and go as time moves on. Daniel dealt with this when interpreting Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The powers of man have come and gone throughout time. Man's power turns to dust. Despite this, man continues to try and establish the great society - a utopia if you will. The dream Daniel interpreted showed a small stone hewed out of the mountain not from human hands. This stone, which is Jesus Christ, demolished the nations and powers of this world. His power is not of this world, but a heavenly power. We must remember to trust in Christ and His power, as His power is not of this world and He is the one who has given us salvation. What a comfort!
