Jesus Declares War

Via the gospel of Mark, we have seen Jesus, beginning with His trip across the lake, fighting with the religious powers that be. But He has decided that they are really nothing. He is going to declare war on all those things that mankind is truly enslaved to and devoured by. He is going to declare war on nature. He is going to declare war on the demonic forces He is going to declare war on sickness and death. Ultimately, He's going to declare war on cynicism and unbelief. And He declares war on our fear of all of these things. He is going out of His way to show that He is the conquering King.
