Traits of Godly Leaders - Part 1
Series 1 Thessalonians
25 ( 24 | 1 )
As Paul defends himself against accusations that he was seeking to benefit from his relationship with the Thessalonian church, Paul uses his defense as a teaching opportunity. He begins in v. 5-6 by defending himself from the negative accusations that he was guilty of "flattering speech," "greed," and "self-glory." He then proceeds to positively state his love of the brethren and the traits that godly leaders should possess if they are truly qualified to be under-shepherds.
