II. Abusing Prayer

Like all of us, the Apostles struggled with the issue of faith and prayer. They were amazed at the things Jesus did. Yes, Jesus was and is God in the flesh. Yet Jesus spent a great deal of time in prayer to the Father. Everything miraculous that Jesus did in His human body was an extension of perfect faith. We speak of faith in terms of quantity. We say a person needs more faith. Christ told His disciples they needed pure faith.
