The Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is a SAVING sacrifice, not a potential atonement. The work of our Blessed Lord in the office of a Mediator was of the most definite order. HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE FOR THE SHEEP.

Here our preacher comes to the heart of the Gospel and proclaims a full and free salvation — not "offered" to everyone, but effectually APPLIED to the elect of God.
