The Word of the Cross

Eloquent speech, worldly wisdom and pride had begun to crowd out the gospel in the Corinthian church.

As it was then, similar messages are crowding out the gospel in churches today.

In today's text, Paul brings the Corinthians back to the gospel message by contrasting the wisdom and power of God with the wisdom of the world.

In today's message, Don examines Paul's words and reiterates the word of the cross.

2. Is folly to those who are perishing

3. But to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
