1. Like Israel, as believers living in an alien world, you often experience sorrow and torment (Verses 1-3).
2. As a result, living as aliens in a foreign world raises a worship question (Verses 4).
3. But as believers, you sing the Lord's song, or the songs of Zion, remembering your heavenly homeland (Verses 4-6).
4. This also raises the question of God's justice (Verse 7).
5. God's justice cuts two ways (Verses 1 and 8).
