Together for Adoption

On today's “Calling For Truth” radio program we will have a number of special guest in the studio with us.

The event that brought all of these guests together is a Caedmon's Call concert to benefit Carolina Hope Christian Adoption Agency and their “Ethiopian Project”. James 1:27 states, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

During the program today, we will discuss the subject of Adoption from a theological perspective as well as a physical perspective. Dan Cruver's passion is to encourage the church to carefully consider the connection between those two perspectives. Dan often speaks about how the theology of adoption (an act of God's free grace whereby believers are received into the number of, and have a right to all the privileges of, the Sons of God) should fuel the compassion of the church in reaching out to orphans around the world.
