To Work or Not to Work

Having a good theology of work makes a lot of sense. Putting it into action even better! Whilst all real work can be difficult and often involves frustration and struggle, avoiding work at all costs and foolishly giving way to a slack and unproductive life results in far greater pain and grief. Proverbs provides us with many helpful warnings regarding the life of a sluggard and the deadly sin of sloth. Those who labour whole heartedly in whatever God provides because they know God's mercy and grace will guard their hearts from the curse of a wasted life.
