Something About Maturity

It's hard to watch paint dry! You get restless sitting there over a long period of time ... not knowing if the paint is drying or just staying wet - unless of course you touch it! You can't see the subtle color change unless you can compare it with a dry sample. When it matches, you know it's close to being dry. Christian maturity is similar. It's hard to know if you're growing without looking at a more mature believer … ideally from within the perfect mirror, God's holy word! The Apostle Paul is a wonderful person to see in Christian maturity. Especially in the face of difficult circumstances. "Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Cor 12:9b
