Tempted in the Wilderness

We find, that immediately following His baptism, our Lord does not return to Galilee. Rather, He treks into the inner depths of the wilderness, living amongst wild beasts, where no other human being is present, for forty days, to encounter another very significant prerequisite to His public revealing and ministry, namely, temptation by the devil himself. And so, our Lord's temptation in the wilderness will be the topic of our consideration for this morning.
To this end, brethren, we will consider the following four things surrounding our Lord's temptation:

1. The Necessity. 2) The Preparation. 3) The Temptations. 4) The Restoration.
