Loved While Being Called to Repent

By appearance this church was looking good but the Lord of the church found it repulsive. Corporately the majority had no true relationship with Jesus Christ but new well what it should look like so they carried on the veneer. While their efforts to give the pretense of being a church and being Christians were sickening to Christ, He declared that He loved them. Despite knowing who they really were, He offered His grace and salvation calling them to repent and genuinely receive the salvation only He could provide. How many churches down through this church age are being described, are loved, being called to repent? How many have heeded Christ's call and repented? How many have refused and sicken the Lord of the church?
