I. The Cups of the Passover

Say therefore to the people of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and 1) I will BRING YOU OUT from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and 2) I will DELIVER you from slavery to them, and 3) I will REDEEM you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. 7 4) I will TAKE you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. Exodus 6:6-7

• The 2nd Cup—the Cup of Judgment (22:42)

• The 4th Cup—the Cup of the Kingdom (22:18)

Conclusion

• 1st Cup Colossians 3:17, …do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
• 2nd Cup Galatians 3:13, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.
• 3rd Cup Psalm 116:13, I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
• 4th Cup 1 Corinthians 11:26 as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.
