What do the Scriptures principally teach?
The Scriptures principally teach what man is to believe concerning God, and what duty God requires of man. When the Westminster Divines wrote this question and answer, they had in mind what the Bible teaches. As a result of this answer, we are to hold fast to our confession and promote, teach, and preserve the truth that has been handed down to us.
