Amazing Faith

The astonishment that came upon Sergius Paulus was the impact of the joining of the truth of God with the power of God. Sergius Paulus believed the Gospel in spite of the efforts of the enemy of the Gospel to turn him away from the faith. We learn that only the power of the Spirit of God will enable His people to prevail in the spiritual warfare, and only that power will deliver sinners from the pit of corruption.
