The Relation of 'Unclean' and Sin

Evangelical feminists often take shots at chapters like Leviticus 12 because it seems to indicate that the Old Testament took a dim view of women.

In order to rightly understand the teaching in Leviticus 12, we need to lay to rest some misunderstandings, which is what this sermon aims to do.

We also ask the question of what 'uncleanness' in the cermonial law had to do with sinfulness. Certainly to be unclean was connected to our sinful condition - but not necessarily to sinful action. This sermon draws out the distinction.
