Sermon Title: The Christian Dress Code

Ephesians 4:25-32

Thesis: Put off the old life and ways and put on Christ.

Honesty, Integrity, Transparency. What Does it mean to be Christian? Do any of these things ring true to you? In your
heart before the Lord what areas of dishonesty do you hang on to?

Because of the Gospel. Because of salvation. Because of Jesus.
What do we put on? How do we act?

1. The first Put off/put on we see is replace lying with truthfulness.
   a. What is a lie?

b. What are Christians to put on?

c. Satan is a Liar. "Did God really say?"

d. Where do liars go?

e. What is one of the most Christ like things we can do to
characterize our lives?

f. Is there absolute truth? Do you have your truth and I have
mine Biblical? 2 Peter 2:1-2

g. What was the first sin judged in the Church in Acts 5 with
Ananias and Sapphira?

h. Are any of the following characterized in your life?:
Exaggerations, Impressions of others, Cover-ups, How we spin
things, Flattery for our gain, Broken vows, False presentation
of our selves for our gain?

i. Put off false hood and put on truthfulness. We are called to do this.

j. Believer today, Look at you life and between you and God answer the question, are you a person marked by truthfulness?
