Jesus the Light of the World

I. YOU ALL NEED THIS LIGHT OF THE WORLD

A. As light is absolutely needed for physical life so Christ is needed for spiritual life

B. Christ is the “only Light” that shines in this world that can do us real and lasting good

C. Without this light we are doomed to an everlasting journey of darkness!

II. YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO FOLLOW THIS LIGHT

A. Jesus didn't call Himself the “light of Israel” but the “light of the world”

B. Jesus calls you to “follow Him.”

III. IN FOLLOWING THIS LIGHT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE UNUSUALNESS OF THIS LIGHT

A. Those who learn to trust for their salvation in Jesus, will not walk in darkness

B. Yet believers will not only walk in the light but will experience the life of light

THE ONLY RECIPE FOR REAL AND BLESSED LIVING IS JESUS CHRIST!

A. The heavenly Apothecary combined all His wisdom in Him!

B. The heavenly Father revealed all His love in Him!

C. The heavenly Sovereign will not always shine His light before you: John 12:35-36
