Should This Man Go To Heaven?

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his morning ministry in the Gospel of John.
To truly be converted by God’s grace is to know and experience the love of Jesus. To truly be converted is to know the assurance of peace with God. To truly be converted is to know that all is well for the today, tomorrow, and eternity. The true Gospel leads to true conversion which leads to true disciples. In this conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus spoke the truth without compromise. He could have altered the message to gain the support of a very significant individual. Instead the Lord dealt with truth and that which Nicodemus needed to hear for his eternal benefit. In this conversation and following instruction, the Lord Jesus gives a clear indication of the workings of real conversion, and the necessity of being born again! In this message, Pastor Stobbs gives insight into just who Nicodemus was, and how he was an outstanding man. In fact, if we wanted a representative of the human race, Nicodemus would be right up there. However, should this man go to heaven based on his works and attitude? As is made clear, Jesus' answer makes it clear, 'unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God'.
