Work - In The Beginning

This Sunday we commence a series on Work - All To the Glory of God. Beginning from Genesis 1 & 2, we will see that work is an intrinsic part of creation. Made in the image and likeness of God, we have been created to work. We do this with God's blessing, for his glory, to sustain human life, and to maintain the sanctity of God's 'very good' creation. This is nothing short of participating with God in the perpetual work and action of his kingdom, not in our own strength, but by the grace of God working in us.
May we be encouraged and refreshed in the God-given purpose and joy of all our labours.
