Realism and Humility

In Theses 11-12. Martin Luther urges us to recognise that we do not earn God's favour by our works, but that even in our good works there is sin. In Theses 13-14 he begins to look at free will, and the effects of the fall which mean that the human will is enslaved, and we are born dead in trespasses and sins.
