33 A Heart Turned Towards the Inheritance Pt. 3, Peace with God On His Terms

Everyone wants God to be pleased with him but we do not want to let God define the terms of His good pleasure. God is pleased with his people Israel in the Old Covenant on a daily basis because the morning and evening regular burnt offerings. Jesus is the fulfillment of this ritual, he is the true sinless (unblemished) offering, giving himself to God for us day & night. Since God is pleased with Jesus, he is pleased with us, his people.
We are to deliberately offer Jesus to the Father with thankful hearts. This should dominate our regular times of worship and be complimented by deliberately offering our lives to God.
