- Sanctification and sovereignty
- God works in us to will, that is, to produce godly desires within us
- God works in us to do, that is, to provide ability to fulfill godly desires
- Sancatification and responsibility - God is sovereign, but we must work out our salvation, meaning that we must be active in pursuing holiness
- Sanctification, sovereignty and disobedience - though we do sin, God, nonetheless will accomplish His purposes, and God will never let us go.
- Sanctification and Hope - the Sovereign God has given us great hope in sanctification, in that He has freed us from the power of sin, and He will free us from the presence of sin.
