Baptized Into

Knowing the basic teaching of the Scripture is foundational for the understanding of all that God desires us to be. We cannot grow or please Him in any fashion without having our minds shaped and transformed by His Word in every manner. And no place is it more important than in the doctrine that we teach and profess both before God and before man. Doctrine is life, theology IS life. What we believe about God and about what God has said comes out in every part of our lives. Even in what some would consider the more academic issues of doctrine, we MUST understand that all of what we believe about God matters. Baptism is no exception. The writer of Hebrews includes baptism in his list of basic truths that we must have firmly grasped and grounded in scripture as it is lived out in our lives.
