His Oath, His Covenant

"But to this day the LORD has not given you a heart to understand" (Deuteronomy 29: 4)

To fully understand God's preservation of His people means that God Himself has moved upon us by His own good pleasure and given us understanding where we had none.

1. Much of evangelical thought does not live as those who have been brought into a binding covenant by God Himself. (The Problem)

2. God; however, has revealed Himself to us and given understanding to us as to who He is and the covenant He has called us into. (The Correction)

3. We MUST remember that God's covenant is not an informal, lose agreement, but one of binding authority and promise. (The Follow Through)
